Good news and movies

Good News:  I did very well on my Intro to Engineering Analysis test this Wednesday.  The class is a tough one, but I’ve been putting in a lot of work and it has paid off.  On a similar note, last night I finished my math homework which is due Wednesday and also did most of [...]

ONE MORE YEAR until I am not a teenager anymore!

On my birthday, June 29th, it didn’t rain which made me really happy because then I got to go out on my best friend’s boat and jet skis all day long! It is raining now though which I’m hoping that tomorrow and this weekend it will be nicer because it is finally the 4th of [...]

Relay For Life

Tonight we’re celebrating after raising money to help fight cancer. The annual Relay For Life is an exciting time at Rensselaer where students and staff come together for an entire night to walk, listen to music, fight cancer, and celebrate life. Here are a few photos from the fun times we are having.

I hope this weather doesn’t distract me

Today is a really nice day! It was a little chilly this morning when I woke up for my 8 a.m. class, but when coming back around 10, it was already beginning to warm up. It seems like the weather is getting better every day this week. Since I only have one class on Wednesday, I had the chance to lounge on the roof in the sun with a few friends.

RPI drag show

Last Friday night was the annual RPI Drag Show hosted by the Rensselaer Pride Alliance. There were professional and student performances. All proceeds
went to the Damien Center, an HIV / AIDS center in Troy. Check-out these pictures.

The musical stylings of The Rensselyrics

Over the weekend, I had a chance to watch one of RPI’s a cappella groups, The Rensselyrics. If you have never seen a live a cappella group, then I would definitely recommend that you take the time to see one of their shows.

Fun events make GM Week

This past week, Rensselaer celebrated its annual Grand Marshal Week. The week included lots of fun and exciting events all leading up to elections for our new Grand Marshal, the highest elected student official.

Math and art on display

Last Friday, a of my few friends and I went to an opening reception for an art exhibit at the Albany Center Gallery, where some local artists were exhibiting their work.

Blah, blah, blah, FUN

Classes have resumed! The sky is bright, the air is warm, and students yell for joy (during class, even!) as they get their tests back. As is the tradition, the instant spring break ends, the weather gets awesome.

Back to school

I had a really nice spring break. I met up with some friends and had a good time. I also saw some family and spent time with them, too.
