Time’s just flying right by! In just a little over four weeks, this semester will have ended! Thanksgiving vacation is in under three weeks, registration is in three days….. Everything’s just coming so fast! Naturally, this is the perfect time for my laptop to break. After two-and-a-half years of dedicated use, my little Macintosh has [...]
This week is really hectic. I had two exams and two projects due today. But, it’s not over. I have another test on Wednesday and a lab due Friday.
Omar tries his new skills on the piano in the Rensselaer Union. Learning to play one of his favorite songs, Journey’s Open Arms, isn’t easy, but he’s making progress.
Run by students, the Rensselaer Union is the place for anyone on campus to relax, study, grab a bite to eat, or meet up with friends at almost any time of day or night.
It feels insanely good when you get a day off, especially like today, Presidents Day. However I am going to spend the whole day doing the one subject I hate most: Physics II.
Just checking back in to say I didn’t get as much work done as I would have liked (as I had already suspected).
It’s that time again… The seasons are changing, the snow carpets the ground, and almost every single student I’ve seen today has been coughing and blowing their nose. I don’t know what it is about when the seasons change, but everyone always gets sick.
These pictures were taken to help give an idea of what residence hall you would like to choose to live in for your freshman year. Most first-year residence halls are located on Freshman Hill around the Commons Dining Hall. There are outdoor common areas between the halls to hang out and play games, where there is also a volleyball court. The Quad Complex is across from the Union on 15th street and Sage Avenue. This complex is more central in the campus and is near Sage Dining Hall. There is also a big lawn area outside to hang out in.
While I was headed to classes I decided to snap a few photos of our campus to show anyone who hasn’t gotten a good look at it, yet.
Song Playing: Noots – Sum 41
Okay, so, I am officially deprived of sleep. The other night I had so many things to do that I basically spent the night at the Union with a couple of friends. Even though I was supposed to be getting work done, I wouldn’t say I didn’t have any fun.
