This is my first blog, ever! I am a freshman working in the Office of First Year Experience and having a great time at RPI.

Thanks to the day off for Labor Day, this was a nice, short week of classes. I was able to use the day off to complete all of my previously assigned work, even that which wasn’t due until the end of this week. As a result, I was able to have some more time to [...]
This week has been a great week to recover from the craziness of SOs 1-4. They were all very exciting and filled with energy. All the advisors miss the past two weeks, they miss the staff and incoming freshmen. With this down time we are switching gears to prepare for SO5 but mostly for NRB. [...]
So the end of my first year as a student at RPI has finally come to an end. The stress of finals have ended and I have returned back home. Overall, the year went by with many ups and downs. I’ve made unforgettable memories with a bunch of great friends.
First: Sheer Idiocy, second: Transporter 3, and third: lots and lots of work. It’ll be a little hectic, but I’m sure I’ll manage.
I thought that, during freshman year, living in the residence halls was going to be the worst experience, but, contrary to my opinion, I was dead wrong. It was an amazing time.
Architecture classes during freshman year can produce some of the most fascinating projects. After months of hard work, they go on display in the Greene Gallery, part of the Greene Building, the home of the School of Architecture. Here are some pictures from those days.
