Busy weeks, RHA, rugby

Random Thought: Biotech’s fire alarm is going off—I wonder if it is a drill?
Three weeks into school and things are already in full swing. I’ve been so busy these past couple weeks that I have hardly had anytime to breathe, but I love the feeling of being involved. I’m on the Residence Hall Association Executive [...]

It is once again the start of a new year!

Random Thought: Why do the RedHawk Shuttle drivers listen to hip/hop? Does anyone else find this a little strange?
It is once again the start of a new year! But this time I’m a sophomore at Rensselaer, I know my way around campus, and I have a car. It is such a nice convenience having a [...]

It’s summer!

And the year comes to a close. Let me just start off by saying that my freshman year at RPI was amazing and I could not imagine being anywhere else! Yes, it was hard at times and I spent a lot of my free time studying, but I think it will definitely pay off in the end.

Why I’m an aeronautical engineer

So last week I received a comment from Teresa asking me to explain my major, to give some reasons about why I picked it, and what I enjoy about it, so I decided to post about it.

It seems like only yesterday …

veryone keeps telling me that one day I will be in college, then faster than you can blink you will have left those carefree college days behind. RPI is preparing me well though, and now with only three weeks left of classes to my freshman year, I can attest to the fact that your time spent in college does FLY BY!

On the road for a conference

Currently, I am not in New York and have traveled to the glorious town of Bridgeport, Conn. for an RHA Conference. For those of you who do not know, RHA is our school’s Residence Hall Association.

It’s spring break!

First of all, in college spring break does not consist of peeps, Easter eggs, or bunnies. Spring break in college is actually a full month away from Easter.

We boarded our little Cessna and took-off …

RPI gives you so many opportunities to branch out and get involved with practically anything. Personally, I love anything dealing with aviation, so I immediately joined the Rensselaer Aeronautical Federation or RAF.

I’m just OCD and a neat freak :)

I’ve been thinking back lately to my habits from home, as opposed to my habits here at college. By habits, I mean dealing with dorm life (by dorm life I mean residence halls, but just go with me here). I remember at home I could make my room as much of a disaster as I wanted and the only person affected, was me.

The exams are coming! The exams are coming!

Can you guess what’s going on this week? It’s time for our first round of exams this semester. SO EXCITED! Now, we all know exams are coming and we all study hard, re-work problems, and do our homework, but for some reason its seems like no matter how much you plan ahead, exams always jump up on you.
