These pictures are from a class project for one of the electives I’m currently taking. The elective is a seminar on the life and work of Marcel Duchamp, one of the most famous French avant-garde artists of the early 20th century. The professor teaching this class happens to be an artist himself, and he was asked by the University of Montana to create an art print for their annual Day of the Dead Celebration, where the art students there take the print and re-create it uses steamrollers and lots of ink on large rolls of paper.

This past week, Rensselaer celebrated its annual Grand Marshal Week. The week included lots of fun and exciting events all leading up to elections for our new Grand Marshal, the highest elected student official.
Last weekend, my resident assistant hosted a BBQ event outside behind our residence hall. We grilled hamburgers, hotdogs, and for some corn. The food was great, the weather was nice, and a lot of people showed up. Here are some pictures.

These pictures are from a site visit for one my studio project’s last year. The site was Union Square in NYC. We were to visit the site and do analysis of it to help us with our design project.
These are some pictures and renders from my final studio project last semester. This project was a partner project that involved designing new dormitories. The idea for the design was supposed to be derived from patterns within nature.
These are some pictures of me and friends goofing off in studio late one night. We made a Patrick (from SpongeBob) out of clay and a hat with horns. We don’t just do work in studio all the time – sometimes we like to have fun.
Architecture classes during freshman year can produce some of the most fascinating projects. After months of hard work, they go on display in the Greene Gallery, part of the Greene Building, the home of the School of Architecture. Here are some pictures from those days.
