So, I went to SUNY Stony Brook yesterday to visit some friends. I wound up staying the night there. It was actually a very good experience to see how different Stony Brook is from RPI. The campus was A LOT bigger with A LOT more students. I was actually very surprised to see so many students on campus. I’m so used to RPI that it has become the norm for me. It was nice to experience a different kind of campus environment. Oh, but one of the most eventful things happened while I was there. I went to bed at two in the morning. At around four in the morning, a fire alarm went off! I had to get out of bed, walk out into the freezing cold with my friends, and stand there until it was over.  Then, around ten, the fire alarm went off AGAIN. I was so annoyed that these alarms deprived me of my sleep. But, yeah, that was definitely one of the highlights of the morning.
