Crushed DuChamp

Posted by Christos    These pictures are from a class project for one of the electives I’m currently taking. The elective is a seminar on the life and work of Marcel Duchamp, one of the most famous French avant-garde artists of the early 20th century. The professor teaching this class happens to be an artist himself, and he was asked by the University of Montana to create an art print for their annual Day of the Dead Celebration, where the art students there take the print and re-create it uses steamrollers and lots of ink on large rolls of paper.
